Sergio Petiziol è pensionato, ex funzionario quadro del SSN nei settori della gestione amministrativa centrale, ospedaliera e territoriale, esperto e formatore in sicurezza e salute sui luoghi di lavoro, lotta antincendio e della gestione delle emergenze. Ha conseguito la LM in Scienze Politiche - indirizzo Internazionale (Univ. Trieste) e la LM in Relazioni Pubbliche (Univ. Udine). Ha prestato servizio nell’A.M. – Sorveglianza. Volontario senior della CRI, Corpo Militare per 33 anni (1° Cap. Comm), con diverse competenze (antincendio, BLS e primo soccorso, logistica e rifornimenti, specialista funzionale CIMIC NATO e sloveno, istruttore di Diritto Internazionale Umanitario CRI e Consigliere Qualificato DIU per le FFAA), ha svolto servizi in emergenze minori e maggiori e in attività su chiamata e in collaborazione con le FFAA. Socio attivo dell'Associazione Culturale Mitteleuropa (Udine), degli Amici della Croce Nera Austriaca (Gorizia), dell'Associazione Culturale Italo-Ungherese del Triveneto (Venezia), dell’International Police Association (IPA) - Sezione di Monfalcone. Sostenitore della Croce Nera Austriaca, Sezione Austria Settentrionale. Da ricercatore storico freelance e Divulgatore di Storia della CRI e del Movimento Internazionale, collabora con il Consolato Generale Onorario d’Ungheria a Verona (dal 2014), con il Ministero della Difesa ungherese (dal 2018), con il Consolato Onorario della Repubblica Ceca a Udine (dal 2014) e il Dipartimento per i veterani di guerra e le tombe di guerra del Ministero della Difesa della Repubblica Ceca (dal 2019) in iniziative volte a onorare la memoria degli austro-ungarici, in particolare degli ungheresi e dei cechi, caduti nel Friuli Venezia Giulia e nel Basso Veneto orientale. Ha pubblicato trenta articoli, saggi e dossier su cultura internazionale, geopolitica, diritto internazionale e diritti umani, storia della medicina, sicurezza sociale e sul lavoro.
Sergio Petiziol is retired, former senior civil servant in the National Health Service (SSN) in the areas of central, hospital and regional administrative management; expert and trainer in occupational health and safety, fire prevention and emergency management. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science – International Studies (University of Trieste) and a Master’s degree in Public Relations (University of Udine). He served in the Air Force – Surveillance. Senior volunteer with the Italian Red Cross (CRI), Military Corps for 33 years (1st Captain, Comm), with various skills (firefighting, BLS and first aid, logistics and supplies, NATO and Slovenian CIMIC functional specialist, Italian Red Cross instructor in International Humanitarian Law and DIU Qualified Advisor for the Armed Forces), he has carried out duties in minor and major emergencies and in on-call activities in collaboration with the Armed Forces. Active member of the Mitteleuropa Cultural Association (Udine), the Friends of the Austrian Black Cross (Gorizia), the Italian-Hungarian Cultural Association of Triveneto (Venice), and the International Police Association (IPA) – Monfalcone Branch. Supporter of the Austrian Black Cross, Northern Austria Branch. As a freelance historical researcher and lecturer of the history of the Italian Red Cross and the International Movement, he collaborates with the Honorary Consulate General of Hungary in Verona (since 2014), the Hungarian Ministry of Defence (since 2018), the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Udine (since 2014) and the Department for War Veterans and War Graves of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic (since 2019) in initiatives aimed at honoring the memory of Austro-Hungarians, in particular Hungarians and Czechs, who fell in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and eastern Lower Veneto. He has published thirty articles, essays and dossiers on international culture, geopolitics, international law and human rights, the history of medicine, social security and occupational safety.
